Wacky wines, take a bow!

It’s that time of year again... Wine For All—New York’s premier wine-event planner—is celebrating April Fools Day 2008 with some wild, wonderful and wacked-out wines, paired with a smorgasbord of edible delights from tortes and tarts to pizza and pinwheels.

Come kick it new school with Kung Fu Girl Riesling. Ever had Sexto? It’s probably your first time canoodling with wine made from hairy (yes, hairy!) grapes. Sample a practically medieval sparkler, a heretical blend, and a gender-bending rosé. Choose between French Rabbit and Bad Bunny... between Revolution and Evolution... between Killer Juice and wine venerating a murderous arsonist-dentist. Play with the official wine of rock-paper-scissors. Taste the Cab so dramatic they call it The Show. Drink some really good %@#$! And for ultra-earnest Grape Nuts, our special focus on Walla Walla will have you saying, “Whoa, whoa!”

Then, a gaggle of Manhattan’s funniest and foodiest will keep les bontemps rolling with a standup show. Comedians include Liam McEneaney, fresh off his European Tour (he’s big in Bulgaria, HUGE in Holland!); Cathleen Rittereiser, who temporarily left a lofty perch on Wall Street (no, she was not outside on a ledge) to do this Times Square gig; Wine For All’s own W. R. Tish, who has been pairing wine and fun since the 20th century; and the ever-popular comic-to-be-named-later....

You’ll drink, you’ll eat, you’ll laugh...just preferably not at the exact same time.
